Naira Zohrabyan’s offer to CEC

“The thing, that we have a very vicious electoral tradition, for sure is not a secret for everyone. The thing, that falsification institution is very skillful and well developed, is also a fact. And the thing, that some control mechanisms are needed, particularly to exclude double voting is also obvious,” NA PAP secretary Naira Zohrabyan told Lurer.com.
According to the latter, one of the ways to control were the oxidizing stamps which didn’t justify themselves. Parliamentary elections showed that this mechanism doesn’t justify itself and is absolutely redundant.
“When I rose a question at Election Supervision Committee, that there is clear information that the stamps oxidize and suggested to carry out expertise whether they don’t oxidize earlier from the mentioned time, the same day Tigran Makuchyan qualified those concerns as imaginary, saying such a thing directly can’t be. But the elections on May 6 showed, who was making imaginary conclusions. By the way, just recently in Talin the history repeated: after 5 minutes the stamps were oxidizing,” noted Naira Zohrabyan.
In this case the PAP offers the finger inking mechanism, which was repeatedly suggested by the Venice Committee, although Naira Zohrabyan is sure, that the Armenian falsification mind will also find a quick mechanism to neutralize finger inking, as it was done in case of stamps. As for the previous stamps with ink, Naira Zohrabyan said: “The previous variant was good in the sense that they didn’t oxidize. In this case problems arise with OSCE, Venice Committee and other institutions: they claim that this is violation of human rights, i.e. voting is a human right and not an obligation and there shouldn’t be a stamp in the passport. In my opinion stricter means should be applied in case of our country.”
