Construction of “Teghut” eco ship (video, photo)

The construction of “Teghut” eco ship has begun from August 20 on the shore of Lake Sevan. The ship will be able to transport 20 passengers. Works are held in a friendly atmosphere. The template of the ship will be ready soon, and the bottles have been washed and cleaned. People from different circles actively respond to the initiative, residents of nearby village, vacationers as well as the staff settled in future Teghut port. Teghutik together with Kilikia ship will park in the same shore. Ship builders note, that ship construction will be over in 10 days. To note, the ship is being constructed from used plastic bottles and aims at rising the existing environmental protection issues in Armenia. That’s why the ship was named Teghut connected with nature protection problem from Teghut mine exploitation.
