In the 2nd round of World Chess Olympiad being held in Istanbul, Armenian national team beat the Bangladesh team by 4-0. Levon Aronian beat Ziaur Rahman, Vladimir Akopian defeated Al Rakib Abdulla, Tigran Petrosian won over Niaz Murshed and Gabriel Sargissian- Enamul Hossain.
Note, that Armenian chess players beat Bolivia by 3-1 in the previous round.
