“Haykakan Zhamanak”: law enforcement officials to give time to Spartak Ghukasyan to flee

RA Shirak Region Police Chief Karen Babakekhyan announced that Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s son, Spartak Ghukasyan which is wanted, fled RA border and is abroad.
How come he managed to flee? The problem is that a criminal case was launched connected with shots in Gyumri, which occurred on August 25, but the law enforcement officials learned about shots on on August 28, from news published in Haykakan Zhamanak Daily.
Thus, Spartak Ghukasyan had 3-4 days to leave Armenia without being in a hurry. It’s hard to believe that law enforcement officials didn’t know about the incident. It’s more probable that they knew and gave Spartak Ghuksyan time to flee and only after that began the activity to explore the case.
