European bronze due to brilliant victory against Azerbaijan

Super heavyweight, +94 kg, boys fight closed the European Under-17 Weightlifting Championship in Romania, in which Armenia's participation was brilliantly concluded by Misha Vardanyan.
According to the pre-orders Samaghar weightlifter had little inclination for prize, but Azerbaijani Azar Mamadli, who threw down glove with Misha, helped him. They both ordered the same kilograms in the snatch and push, and here, on the account of personal weight, the advantage was to be Mamadli’s, in case of equal results, on which he and his coaches were hoping for.
The tactical and psychological fight between the Armenian and Azerbaijanian was about showing advantage over one another, rather than about medals. And the Armenian won here. In order to share 4-5 places the snatch, they both lifted 145 kg and Misha was satisfied with the 5th place. But already in the push, Mamadli’s nerves yielded. They both ordered 180 kg for the first approach. Misha, then, added 10 kg to his starting weight, which was a surprise for the Azerbaijanian. And he decided to start with 187, just to insure himself, and he failed. The Armenian weightlifter immediately reduced his order by 2 kg, and held 188 kg over his head. The Azerbaijanian was already obliged to go for the same kilograms, which were beyond his powers. Failing next to approaches, Azar Mamadli received 0, and Misha Vardanyan became the 3rd winner of that exercise and the same time, won the big bronze medal of European Championship with his 333 kg in biathlon.
