Men’s Armenian national team celebrated another victory in the 5th round of World Chess Olympiad being held in Istabul. This time Armenian chess players beat the Ukrainian team by 2.5-1.5.
Levon Aronian defeated Vassily Ivanchuk and Sergei Movsesian - Ruslan Ponomariov, Vladimir Akopian - Andrei Volokitin, Gabriel Sargissian - Pavel Eljanov games ended in draw.
Thus, Armenian national team tops the tournament list.
