Death Penalty to Safarov: ASALA
ARCHIVE
ASALA published a death penalty.
An anonymous letter appeared on the internet, which specifically reads:
“Western trial confirmed once more the fact of its being sold and total absence of democracy. West has repeatedly proved that at the place where originate gas, oil and military interests, there democracy and justice disappear.
It’s not Hungary or Azerbaijan that gave freedom to the murderer, but Europe and the USA: they let the murderer walk in freedom to reach their goals in Caucasus. Unfortunately, in modern world everything can be sold and bought including democracy and justice, but we can’t allow that.
ASALA passes death sentence on Ramil Safarov. The verdict will be realized within the period of two years.”
To note, a felon Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov axed Armenia’s MD officer Gurgen Margaryan while sleeping on February 19, 2004. Officers were participating in English language classes within NATO’s Peace for Partnership program. Hungary’s court sentenced Ramil Safarov to life in prison without the right of pardon at the first 30 years of his sentence. The murderer, which is considered an Azerbaijani “hero” , was given the rank of a Major, an apartment and material compensation.
