In case of NKR conflict tension Georgia will adopt neutral position: Georgian expert

In case of NKR conflict tension Georgia will have neutral disposition, President of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies Alexander Rondeli noted in an interview with REGNUM agency. He also stated that Tbilisi is interested in stability in the region and in the world, that’s why it’ll do its best not to allow such a development of events.
“Georgia is against any conflict in the region and will try to prevent them to come up. We want peace and stability to lead in South Caucasus,” Rondeli said.
To the question to which degree is Georgia able to take neutral position in this conflict and follow the rules of military neutrality in case of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Rondeli stated, there is nothing perfect, including military neutrality. “But in any case our country will adopt neutral position on state level,” expressed his viewpoint Rondeli.
“Military neutrality supposes regional allocation for transit use, and this means Armenia will be cut off with its main military ally Moscow. Virtually such “neutrality” of Georgia will lead to Armenia’s occupation and Azerbaijan’s indirect support.” In response Randeli stated: “Of course, a very unpleasant situation.”
Just because of these situations I’m not integrated into politics. There is one nuance: If Russia wants to enter Armenia, they’ll ignore everything and will reach. “Who can stop it?” To the question whether he means Georgia saying “will ignore everything”, Rondeli answered positively: “Who else?”
