Taxi drivers’ “black” income: poll (video)

There are few people who don’t relate to a problem in their everyday life, such is the neglected conditions of nowadays taxis. Today Lurer.com conducted survey among the citizens to determine public opinion and views on Yerevan taxis. Citizens were given 2 enquiries:
1. Have they noticed that the taxi changes the minimum cost after the 4th km?
2. What measures do they take? Do they complain or just pay the stated money?
To our great surprise, we met individuals in the society who are not familiar with this problem, but those who unequivocally confirmed that, were not few either.
When conducting polls, we also witnessed other violations: many drivers did not have the fare calculator, or there were not being reset, many just didn’t allow to film the fare calculator. We think it is clear why they avoid filming.
Respected responsibles of the industry! We draw your attention to the, as people say, undeniable fact of robbery and expect impartial solution to the problem. Hopefully, one day we will have civil service.
