Kremlin does not comment on Aliyev's words about creating corridor between Nakhchivan, western Azerbaijan
ForeignRussian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not comment on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's statement that the presidents of Russia and Turkey responded positively to the idea of creating a corridor connecting Nakhchivan with the western regions of Azerbaijan, TASS reported.
"I will leave this particular topic without comment," Peskov told reporters. "Let me just recall that a week or two ago, in one of the statements on the phone conversation between [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and Aliyev, we spoke about the fact that, aside from other matters, the [two] heads of state discussed the matter of unblocking and development of transport communications in the region."
