Vardan Minasyan: I wouldn’t say that we were playing well, but the important thing is the 3 points

After the Malta-Armenia World Cup 2014 qualifying game, Vardan Minasyan’s, the head coach of Armenian national team, after-game press conference took place in the press conference hall of “Ta Kali” stadium. Due to Arthur Sarkisov’s only goal, Armenian national team won by 1:0.
Vardan Minasyan said about the process and outcome of the game, that the game was tough. The coach has noted, that it’s always hard against such teams and there is a need to score as soon as possible, not to have any problems in the future.
“I wouldn’t say that we were playing well, but the important thing is the 3 points,” said Vardan Minasyan.
Referring to the questions about Arthur Sarkisov and Gevorg Ghazaryan, Vardan Minasyan replied, that Sarkisov played in the right edge of strike. It was due to the fact, that Arthur plays in that position in his club “Volga”, besides the score of the game has obliged to involve a striker in the game. As to Gevorg Ghazaryan, then Vardan Minasyan hoped, that Gevorg will be able to play in the game with Bulgaria.
