Local self-government elections to be held tomorrow in 5 RA Regions

On September 9, in 482 communities of Ararat, Armavir, Lori, Shirak and Syunik Regions local self-government elections will be held. 716 people are going to compete for head of the community and 4073 for member of the council of elders positions.
Mayor elections will be held in Kapan, Sisian, Meghri, Qajaran, Agarak, Dastakert, Vedi, Masis, Metsamor, Echmiadzin, Gyumri, Artik, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Tashir, Akhtala, Tumanyan and Shamlugh communities.
19 local and EU local and Regional Authorities Congress Election Observation Delegation are going to follow local self-government elections.
