Recenly Arpine Israelyan, who is known to the public especially from “Anna” soap-opera, is rarely seen on TV screens. We tried to find out from the actress the reason of her “turmoil”
-Last year at this time you got engaged Arpine, and it seems that wedding have been planned this year. Are the wedding preparations the reason that you are not seen in TV soap-operas much?
- (Smiles) I remember ... Frankly speaking, I do not want to talk about personal, maybe also that ... but my absence in soap-operas is mainly due to my tight schedule. Besides, I think that breaks are needed in soap-operas for the audience to miss you, so people would be interested in your new role and perceive it anew.
Now the theater is again primary, though, in my opinion, it is always primary for each actor. I play in two performances- “The two on swing” and “Eight tender women”, I broadcast the “Morning Light” program on the Public TV. It’s interesting to display myself in a new sphere.
-"Anna" soap-opera had caused a lot of heated discussions, there were also negative reviews and criticism besides the positive; did those leave any consequence? Perhaps aroused disappointment towards soap-operas?
- Soap-operas, of course, receive more stormy response. Why not, it’s interesting to hear opinions, around your daily growing character, among which there are also negative reviews, which, though couldn’t make me dispirited and disappointed in TV screen. I try to seek the good in the bad. It was just a job for me, practice.
- Have you missed the soap opera swing?
- Frankly, I do not miss. Perhaps my business does not allow to miss it.
- Have there been any proposals of feature film?
-Yes, there has been a proposal, but I had to reject it; I was in the soap-opera at that time, and I was also a student and wasn’t able to combine with the film.
- Don’t you regret the missing of such an opportunity? Since movie is durable in contrast to the soap-opera.
-No, I absolutely don’t regret. I think, that at that time receiving education was far more important; It was to help me in the future to be more professional in that films.
- Let’s return to the first question: maybe you’d tell us whether status change is expected in this Fall or not?
- Well ... (smiles ..), changes will naturally occur, good news are expected … most possibly until the end of the Fall.
