“Aravot”: PAP will take part in ANC protests

The newspaper made inquiries from PAP MP Elinar Vardanyan, at that period the ANC activists were condemned for their political viewpoints, why PAP didn’t support them and why it didn’t participate in protests held in their defense. She replied:
“After the verdict of ANC activists was pronounced I was the first to condemn it, thinking that it’s a strict sentence and it gives ground to make political suppositions. At the same time we cooperate with our ANC colleagues in this issue. Moreover, we have agreements to take part in protests held by ANC. I can’t but agree with the thought that we don’t stand by our colleagues.”
