Actually Safarov is not a hero in his country

Today the topic for discussion of politicians, Azerbaijanologists and experts was Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and political realities which followed Azeri criminal Ramil Safarov’s extradition.
During the discussion Azerbaijanologist Anzhela Eligbarova noted, that these days Azeri press presents a rather interesting image. “Discussions were rather interesting there: actually Ramil Safrov isn’t a hero in his country. Azeri campaign is managed by low level, for example there were many kikses on ASALA’s fake letter, which could make a smile appear upon our faces, after that they tried to fix the kikses and wrote another letter named “new ASALA”, this was also not enough, they added a ridiculous e-mail.”
Information system expert Vahram Mirakyan noticed, that Azerbaijan was criticized by its outer side: “Efforts were made to get out of outer discredit, for instance ASALA’s fake letter; by that they tried to introduce balance in campaign. Everything was positive from the point of view of inner campaign. It wasn’t accidental that he became a hero and the majority of the society takes him for a hero.”
