Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murdering seven people in southern China. China's official Xinhua News Agency said Friday that 17-year-old Fu Zhenli and 18-year-old Liu Qizhi were arrested after police suspected they killed three people, including a pregnant hotel owner and her 2-year-old daughter, in Yunnan province on Aug. 30.
Xinhua said police later learned that the teenagers also killed a couple in Hunan province and a couple in Guangdong province in August, ABC News reports.
Xinhua said money was the likely motive in the slayings, but did not provide further details.
