EU diplomatic chief Catherine Ashton condemned the situation in the Muslim world, calling on the authorities of the countries to ensure the security of the staff at diplomatic mission.
To remind you, on Wednesday, about five thousand demonstrators had assembled in the center of Khartoum and tried to attack the German and British embassies. The police used tear gas against the protesters, preventing the building from being taken by latters: although, some protesters managed to enter the territory of German Embassy and tore German flag.
Earlier in the Libyan city of Benghazi, in the result of Muslims’ similar actions, died the US Ambassador.
"I am closely following developments with great concern and urge the authorities of Muslim countries to ensure the security at diplomatic missions," stated Catherine Ashton (RIA Novosti).
