Destruction of confidential documents started at U.S. Embassy in Lebanon

Today the employees of US Embassy in Beirut started to destroy confidential documents out of security considerations. They have been forced to go for these steps because of the the anti-American protests, which have started due to the infamous "Innocence of Muslims" film, Associated Press reports. Besides, Lebanese citizens working in embassy have been sent home again out of security considerations .
It should be noted that a protest attended by thousands of people is going on in Beirut's suburbs, against the "Innocence of Muslims" film, which, according to believers of Islam, offends the prophet Muhammad.
To remind you, similar protests are being held also in several other cities in Lebanon.
