5+1 negotiation to be continued in New York

Next week, the UN Security Council's five permanent members and Germany will meet in New York, where the next steps in regard to Iran's nuclear program are to be discussed, vesti.ru reports. As Victoria Nuland, the Press Service Head of U.S. Department of State has reported today, the event will take place within the frames of UN General Assembly's 67th session.
According to her, the meeting of Catherine Ashton, European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary Said Jalili is nothing more than "an attempt to determine Iran’s position in the nuclear issue," reports ITAR-TASS.
Ashton, who represents the 5 +1 group within the frames of the dialogue with Iran, will try learn from Jalili, whether Iran is ready to put something new on the the table of negotiations. The State Department representative reminded, that the “six” considers insufficient Tehran’s proposal in the nuclear of resolving the crisis.
