Martiros Saryan’s paintings to be exhibited in Russia for the first time

For the first time Martiros Saryan’s paintings will be exhibited in post-Soviet Russia, which the painter authored during the years 1908-1972.
As RIA Novosti reports, works of the Armenian painter will be exhibited on September 27 in Ulyanovsk City, Russia. During the exhibition not only paintings of Martiros Saryan, but also of Plastov will be shown. According to director of Arkadi Plastov’s Museum Tatyana Vereschagina long lasting friendship united these two talented painters.
