New commemorative coins issued

Within the framework of the “Armenian Monasteries and Churches” International Numismatics Program, Armenia’s Central Bank issued silver commemorative coins devoted to the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, Gndevank Monastery, and Noravank Monastery.
The exterior of all the coins has the same formation, they have the same technical traits, and colored paint was used in their manufacturing.
Coin Invest Trust from Liechtenstein is the company behind this project, and the coins were prepared in Germany.
The coins’ face value is AMD 1,000 (approx. $2.43) and up to 2,500 coins are issued.
