The authority of the head of "Hospital for Convicts" penitentiary is terminated

Based on the results of the checks at “Hospital for Convicts” penitentiary conducted by the inspection for controlling the legality of RA MJ office and based on the report of the head of the inspection Norayr Panosyan, RA Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan has signed an order on September 18 to appoint an investigation at the penitentiary.
In accordance with the same order of RA Minister of Justice, the authority of the head of RA MJ “Hospital for Convicts” penitentiary Aram Khachatryan has been temporarily terminated during the investigation. Artush Chobanyan, the deputy of the head of the penitentiary, is to replace the head.
According to the Minister’s order, the responsibility for organizing and conducting the investigation has been put on the head of the inspection for controlling the legality of RA MJ office Norayr Panosyan.
