Prestigious Goal.com website, referring to the “Shakhtar”- “Nordsjælland” match of 2012-2013 tournament of the Champions League, recognized Henrik Mkhitaryan as the man of the match.
“Linked up with Fernandinho well, broke into dangerous areas constantly, and continued his scoring spree with a near post finish before pouncing on a rebound. Man of the match, Nordsjaelland couldn't cope with his clever movement,” writes the website.
Note, that yesterday, the E group Donetsk “Shakhtar”- “Nordsjælland” match of the 1st round of 2012-2013 season of Football Champions League became historical especially for Armenian football fans. It’s the first time when an Armenian footballer, Henrik Mkhitaryan scores a goal in the ChL, and not one, but two goals.
