John Travolta wanted to retire after his son’s death

Hollywood actor John Travolta confessed, that he wanted to retire 3 years ago, when he lost his son.
"I had lost my son a few years ago, and I had enough time to think about retirement. I received great support from various people, fans and family and I decided to go back to work," told Travolta.
The actor said that one of his first decisions was to accept the proposal to be shot in one of director Oliver Stone's films.
Note that the actor’s 16-year-old son had been found dead in the bathroom of the actor’s house in Bahamas in the beginning of 2009. The cause of the death was Kawasaki syndrome.
