RF former MoD Pavel Grachov dies

RF former Minister of Defense, state and political figure, USSR hero, RF first General (1992) Pavel Grachov died today in Clinical Hospital after Vishnevski, RIA Novosti reports, making reference to the medical center representative. The latter said: “Pavel Sergeevich Grachov died today, at 02.40 pm (Moscow Time).”
The news was also confirmed by RF MoD press-service and information department representative in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Note, Grachov moved to military hospital after Vishnevski on September 12. He was in reanimation department, in extreme condition. The medical institution hasn’t informed yet on cause of death.
To note, Pavel Grachov has been RF Minister of Defense from 1992 to 1996.
