Gavar City head of community, Gegharkunik Region, was elected non-partisan Gurgen Martirosyan at local self-government elections held on September 23, which gathered 5 350 votes. Total number of voters is 22 782.
The other candidate non-partisan Dmitry Ispiryan gathered 1 159, RPA self-nominated Grisha Hoveyan – 766 votes, non-partisan Armen Galstyan – 739 votes.
Number of invalid ballots is 300.
