It’s been a few days, when the statues of Armenian brilliant writer Yeghishe Charents and talented actor Mher Mkrtchyan are put on Charles Aznavour square of Yerevan.
Lurer.com conducted a poll to reveal society’s attitude towards the idea of the statues. Can the statues contribute to the broadening of cognition and education of the future generation?
The surveys showed that our citizens were very excited about the statues. Those were especially valued by Diaspora-Armenian guests. On their opinion, the statues, besides being beautiful and pleasant, also have conceit in them: those represent our culture.
