RF MoD announces cause of General Grachov's death

RF MoD announced the causes of death of General Grachov, who was the Defense Minister from 1992-1996, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the data of MoD, Grachov died of meningoencephalitis (acute brain inflammation, which is accompanied by bacterial virus), at the 3rd central military hospital after Vishnevski.
The General was 64-year-old. The hypothesis of stroke and food poisoning were previously circulating. Grachov was at hospital from September 12 and died on September 23.
Pavel Grachov conducted his office of MoD due to the office of President Boris Yeltsin.
