NKR President awards Eagle Suicide Attackers

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Wednesday signed a decree on awarding fighters of the “Eagle Suicide Attackers” Special Mission Regiment with NKR medals for their personal bravery and courage shown in the defense of civilian population and inviolability of the state borders, and in connection with the 20th anniversary of the unit’s formation.
A total of 70 individuals—64 of whom posthumously—were awarded with the “For Courage” Medal.
And 88 people—10 of whom posthumously—were awarded the “For Service in Battle” Medal.
