Gagik Jhangiryan: some of the 10 murders can be revealed in a few days

NA ANC oppositional faction MP, former military Prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan today in a meeting with reporters presented the legislative initiative on creating an ad hoc committee to reveal murders of 2008 March 1.
“The aim of the project is to study through an ad hoc committee and reveal murders of March 1 and 2 in Yerevan, as well as legitimacy of organized events by RA Police and Attorney General’s Office, accordingly we should use the leverages which we have,” RPA MP said.
Gagik Jhangiryan expressed a convicition that some of the 10 murders can be revealed in a few days. Jhangiryan also informed that one MP from each party can aso be included in the committee, independent MPs can also be involved.
“State agencies have done their best to conceal the murders. But not to reveal the 10 murders as well as cases of the caused bodily injuries is impossible,” he said adding, “ok, they don’t want to reveal bodily injuries of civilians, how about the case of military officers? This should be a matter of honor.”
Jhangiryan also stated, that preliminary discussions weren’t held with any party. “As far as all the parties are for revealing murders, I think, the project will be accepted,” Jhangiryan said.
