Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili attended today the opening of the Kutaisi airport together with Hungary’s prime minister, Victor Orban.
“We are constructing the Kutaisi city. The parliamentary capital is not just someone’s whim. It is necessary important for Georgia as all the regions in the country have to develop,” he said at the ceremony.
The president said the airport’s workload will increase next year after Georgia relaxes the visas with the EU, switching over to a free trade regime.
