Aghvan Hovsepyan petitions for Vartan Oskanyan’s prosecution

Armenia’s Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan has petitioned Armenia’s parliament for its consent to involving Vartan Oskanian, an MP of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), in a criminal investigation conducted by Armenia’s National Security Service.

Sona Truzyan, Spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office, confirmed the news that by presenting a petition the Prosecutor’s Office does not raise the issue of arrest. Rather, it is a petition for depriving Vartan Oskanian of his parliamentary immunity.
