Obama plane aborts landing due to bad weather
USA
The US Air Force One aborted its landing in Toledo on Wednesday because of poor weather conditions, Washington Post reported.
The plane, which was carrying President Obama to Ohio for campaign rallies in Bowling Green and Kent, “missed” its approach into Toledo, according to a statement distributed by Air Force spokesman Luis E. Martinez.
It was raining and visibility was poor at the time of the attempted landing, around noon Wednesday. The plane was nearly on the ground when it began ascending again.
The flight crew circled around and landed safely after the aborted attempt. The incident did not affect Obama’s schedule
