Vladimir Gasparyan: Our goal is clear stigma put on Police

Presentation of RA Police new website was held in Police central building today. OSCE Yerevan’s office ambassador Andrei Sorokin, RA Police Chief Leutenant-General Vladimir Gasparyan, representatives of international and social organizations were also participating in presentation.
After the website presentation RA Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan mentioned in his speech, that today’s step is done for ten months, but in other ways: “Now we rose it to a higher level and this is just the start and we’ll make our activity deeper and more perceivable. You’ll also see concrete Police events revealing crime.
Our aim is to clear the stigma of the police, which is on us.
Of course, there are obstacles, there is malice and mischief which are done towards us, but we’re used to comporting all that. The website will clear us from lots of shortcomings.
In this connection, I’d ask to work with us. Now reporters decided to fight with us, I’d like that you also had our transparency,” the Police Chief pointed out.
Concluding his speech Vladimir Gasparyan said: “We’ll do our best to have the Police, which we dream of good and honest Police.”
