Ombudsman applies to Governor for the 2nd time: the problem is not solved yet
Armenia
A group of Gyumri residents applied to the Ombudsmen with a petition to open a 24-hour dental clinic in Gyumri.
The absence of a 24-hour dental clinic causes a lot of problems among the residents, especially in the case of children, when the parents are obliged to go to Yerevan at midnight.
The ombudsman had sent a letter to Shirak Governor in regard with the issue. In response to the letter Shirak Governor has informed, that it is planned to have a 24-dental cabinet in “Gyumri medical center” CJSC in order to improve the quality of dental treatment and service in the town of Gyumri.
Residents of Gyumri still complain, because the issue is not solved yet.
The Ombudsman once again appealed to the governor, asking him to give some additional information on the necessary terms for the implementation of those measures, as well as on the undertaken measures for the opening of the dental cabinet .
