Vardan Ghukasyan to leave sooner

Although the elections to local self-government bodies in Gyumri have been held on September 9, it’s only a few days that new mayor Samvel Balasanyan’s deputy authorities have been terminated, but the new mayor, according to the existing legislation, is to assume his position from November 12. Current mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s authorities will be terminated on that very day. But according to the rumors circulating in Gyumri, Vardan Ghukasyan is to put down his authorities sooner than the expiry date is- on October 8 or 9, right after celebrating the “Day of Gyumri” for the last time.

According to the same rumors, it’s RA the higher authorities who made him leave earlier.
