Robert Kocharyan supports Vartan Oskanian

The office of RA 2nd president Robert Kocharyan released a statement on his behalf on depriving Vartan Oskanian of his parliamentary immunity.
I closely acquainted with the materials published by the "case" and couldn’t find the answer to the main question: what do have to do NSS, the Prosecutor’s office and parliament with the friendly relations of John Huntsman, Vartan Oskanian and his “Civilitas” foundation? This is an obvious case self-discredit of Parliament, with its negative consequences on country’s credit. And it is completely not what Armenia needs today.
Vartan Oskanian was one of the most successful ministers and political figures who stood the challenge of authority . He was effective and honest as was in the authority and is now. He is exclusively righteous, and this is a rare quality in our political reality. Such people should be cherished and not persecuted even for the sake of own reputation. Especially when is a representative of a party having pretty serious electorate.
The nonsense of this entire story is disappointing. I'm sorry for the happened and express my sympathy and support to Vartan Oskanian.
