A father to 4 children tries to commit suicide: neighbors save

Today, October 4, the suicide attempt of 51-year-old Sarkis F. has been prevented.
As a photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports to shamshyan.com, alarm was received at about 18.00 at Police Charbakh Department, that a man is trying to commit suicide in one of the houses on Artashisyan 3rd bystreet.
Neighbors noticed from the window the hanging man and entered the living room after breaking the window. They cut the rope and saved his life.
G. Shamshyan reports that the man is from Geghanist village of Ararat region and lives on the mentioned street. He is married and has 4 daughters.
The operative team of Police Charbakh Department, headed by Department Chief Nikolay Ohanyan, arrived at the scene. Shengavit Investigative Division of Police General Investigation Department will reveal the cause of the man’s very step. Materials are being prepared concerning the fact.
