Putin Signs Law Creating Single Voting Day

RF President Vladimir Putin signed law, which states the second Sunday of September as Single Voting Day, RIA Novosti reports. The relevant documents are inserted in the bank of regulatory and administrative acts.
The next elections are due in October of 2012. And the others will take place in September, since the law is to vome nto force from the 1st of November, 2012.
In the year of RF presidential elections, that single day is not to be banned and the elections are to take place on the second Sunday of September. Thus, the presidential elections will not be combined with other elections.
