What is Tsarukyan to do?

These days, the most touched question in the political backstage is, perhaps, the following: Why is PAP chairman Gagik Tsarukyan missing from Armenia, when his party is living a very hard period and he is not even in a hurry to express his opinion on the events concerning Vartan Oskanian case, 168.am reports. According to the latter’s PAP sources, G. Tsarukyan asked Serzh Sargsyan for 10 days to orientate and express his final position. According to the agreement with Serzh Sargsyan, PAP Presidents is either to announce about his decision to support the current president or about his decision of being nominated in the elections.
It depends on this decision how the authorities will treat PAP former officials and current MPs, the announcement on the activity of whose has already been published, but specific steps are not being initiated yet. It also explains the fact, that despite NA “urgently” discussed the Prosecutor General’s petition and deprived Vartan Oskanian from his immunity, but any legal action against him has not been implemented yet. Particularly, Vartan Oskanian is not yet involved as a suspect in the “money laundering” case.
Note, that as the above mentioned news website reported, according to the talks in the authority frames, Tsarukyan and Sargsyan last met on Friday. Thus, Tsarukyan’s asked term, the 10 day, is to be over on the upcoming Monday.
