This week’s average rate of USD totaled to 407.1 AMD

RA Central Bank reported the details of the transactions, that took place from October 1 to 5, 2012. In the interbank foreign exchange market, the banks purchased US $75 445 948, 407.10 AMD per US dollar at average exchange rate, and sold US $88 109 612, 408.53 AMD per US dollar at average exchange rate.
During the period mentioned at "NASDAQ OMX ARMENIA” OJSC, purchase and sale of US $11190000 took place, 407.70 AMD per US dollar at average exchange rate.
Purchase and sale of US $1 850 000 took place in the interbank market, 408.29 AMD per US dollar at average exchange rate.
In the interbank foreign exchange market, banks purchased 6 924 677 EUR, 521.01 AMD per euro at average exchange rate, and sold 11 333 546 EUR, 528.42 AMD per euro at average exchange rate.
During the mentioned period no transaction took place at “NASDAQ OMX ARMENIA” OJSC.
In the interbank foreign exchange market, banks purchased 750 424 609 RF ruble, 12.98 AMD per ruble at average exchange rate, and sold 87 672 255 RF ruble, 13.18 AMD per ruble at average exchange rate.
During the mentioned period no transaction took place at “NASDAQ OMX ARMENIA” OJSC.
The loans granted in AMD by banks in the period between September 24-30, amounted to 39.3 billion AMD, and the loans granted in US dollar- US $84.5 million.
