Jordan's King Abdullah II signed a decree to dissolve the parliament, Associated Press reported on this on October 4.
In accordance with the decree, the dissolution of the parliament will be followed by extraordinary elections. The date is not set yet, but it’s expected to be held near the end of 2012.
The decision of dissolution of the parliament has been published on the eve of the next anti-governmental mass protest, which was set for October 5 and was to be attended by 50000 people.
It should be noted that the former two governments were also dissolved by Abdullah II in 2009 and 2007.
