The state television broadcasted photos, in which Assad pays a tribute to the monument near Mount Kasiun.
The president who has seen war, has been on screens for many times since the day that rebellion against the regime started (March of 20111), usually organizing closed meetings with different diplomats.
So, in September Assad demonstrably received international peace mediator Lahdar Brahimii, as well as Ali Akbar Salehi, Syrian Foreign Minister.
