Serzh Sargsyan extends birthday greetings to Putin

President Serzh Sargsyan has congratulated his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on his 60th birth anniversary.

In a greeting address to the Russian leader, the president has wished him sound health and more success in his state service, thanking him for the efforts to foster cooperation with Armenia.

“It is important that the cooperation bears a strategic nature, with the partnership between our countries becoming constantly enriched due to joint projects in the trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural-humanitarian sectors. I am sure that the development of interstate relations based on the good traditions of mutual support and assistance is in the interest of the Armenian and Russian nations and contributes to the maintenance of stability and security in the South Caucasus. I highly praise our interpersonal relations, and feel confident that our joint efforts will boost the progressive development of multifaceted relations between Armenia and Russia to the benefit of our countries and peoples,” says the president.
