Vardan Ghukasyan and his deputy resign

Hours ago Vardan Ghukasyan has written a resignation letter, in which he wrote that he wants to resign a month earlier than his office ends, thereby terminating his authority of the mayor. This information was confirmed by Gyumri former deputy Mayor, member of RA Communist party Gagik Manukyan.
"Yes, Vardan has already written a letter of resignation,” the deputy Mayor reported to galatv.am. Gagik Manukyan himself submitted a resignation letter along with Vardan Ghukasyan. Our journalist asked the ex-deputy Mayor whether the news of resignation of some other officials are reliable or not: “I don’t know anything about the rest,” said Gagik Manukyan.
Note that probably tomorrow Gyumri will have a temporary Acting Mayor. The person is not known yet, and the newly-elected Mayor Samvel Balasanyan will take his position from November 12.
