Serzh Sargsyan on the liberation of Shushi
You know, when people went to Shushi, it was a celebration. It was just a celebration in Stepanakert. 350-400 missiles were daily falling on Stepanakert. And all of us became a half-mad in that time. Nobody already felt that missiles. I went home, my little girl used to sit on the stairs and once she said: "Dad, do you see the flying missile? It’s not dangerous, it’s “Alazan”- a kind missile, but the other one is dangerous.” Do you understand what I mean? That’s why the liberation of Shushi was a celebration for all of us.”
