Oskanian case to be in the center of PACE attention: PAPs guarantee

Below is Armenian Delegation’s PAP members Naira Zohrabyan’s and Vahe Hovhannisyan’s statement at PACE.
"From October 2-5, participating in PACE Fall session as PACE MPs, we inform, that a number of PACE MPs and the senior staff are seriously concerned with Vartan Oskanian’s case and expressed their unconditional support to PAP and a PAP member RA former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian in the meetings with us. All the PACE political factions and national delegations have been provided with a package, with details of the case, of which, in fact, the latters were a little aware from their ambassadors to Armenia, and we’ve received most serious guarantees about the fact, that the case is going to be in the center of PACE attention. We, as PACE MPs were asked to operatively report about the every bit of development of Oskanian case to PACE, in exchange with equal operative response.
Moreover, in the result of discussions with various PACE officials, we announce that we are ready to give up our place at PACE to Vartan Oskanian at any moment, realizing, that being a PACE MP endows some additional immunity to the MP from a EC country.
