“Zhoghovurd”: Serzh Sargsyan to give “internal instruction”

RPA head Serzh Sargsyan was on a working visit to Vayots Dzor on October 6 to participate in final plenary session of 2nd conference or rural communities. Newspaper sources inform, that after the session Sargsyan gave an “internal instruction” to those mayors and village heads, which haven’t been elected in local self-government elections to resign.
The newspaper notes, that heads of communities which haven’t been elected but are in position, according to Article 41 of RA law on “local self-government elections” have the right to be in position for 30 days. Serzh Sargsyan exhorts to violate the law and to resign before the term. In this connection Ashtarak City mayor Gagik Tamazyan, which has resigned told the newspaper: “We think, it’s right, because some stop is caused to city’s development and work. I’ve done this for me, that the new mayor did his job.”
