Erdogan: Syrian plane carries ammunition from Russia

"The Syrian plane, which was “caught” in Turkey's airspace and was forced to land in Ankara, was flying from Moscow, breaking the laws of civil aviation; It was transporting ammunition,” RIA Novosti reports.
"The transported cargo was being sent to Syria's Ministry of Defense by a Russian organization,” Erdogan announced in the press conference with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarabaev in Ankara, commenting on Syrian aircraft incident. Erdogan observed, that the cargo was being transported to Syria by a Russian company dealing with military-industrial system, but did not mention its name. “The cargo has been detained and a respective protocol has been made,” informed the PM, refusing to comment on the question of who prompted the transportation of the ammunition on a plane.
Note, that Syrian Аirbus А-320 (Board number- SRY442) plane has been forced to land in Ankara on its Moscow-Damascus flight on the Wednesday evening. In order to catch it, Turkish air-forces had sent out F-16 bombers.
