“Haykakan Zhamanak”: RPA session without PM

Yesterday, after RPA executive body’s session RPA spokesman, NA deputy chairman Edward Sharmazanov announced that an extraordinary session is planned up to the end of the year, in which President Serzh Sargsyan’s official nomination to the presidential elections to be held in February is to be announced. He also referred to Serzh Sargsyan-Gagik Tsarukyan secret meetings and to the circulating rumors about the deadline of orientation given to Gagik Tsarukyan by Serzh Sargsyan: “Nobody put any deadline for anybody, there are no secret agreements, and the fact that they met, there is nothing to be surprised.”
According to his PAP’s viewpoint concerning the presidential elections is PAP’s issue and monopoly, and as PAP stated, they’ll announce about it when the time comes.
PM Tigran Sargsyan did not attend yesterday’s session of RPA executive body. “HZh” reporter asked his press speaker Harutyu Bereberyan where was the PM and why he did not participate in the RPA session, to which he responded: “Tomorrow the session of Armenian-Russian intergovernmental committee is to be held. The PM wasn’t able to attend the RPA session due to his tight schedule.
